Peace

The mayhem commonly referred to as the school holidays has finally come to a close and I'm left with the question "What should I do now?" I had plans of what I would spend my time doing once my daughter had returned to school. The fact of the matter is, I miss her more than I thought I would and so today was spent in idle reflection of the last seven weeks. I don't consider this a waste of my time, all too soon she'll be grown up and it won't be cool to be seen out with me anymore. Though I do want more children in the future, ideally I'd like to spend some time writing this novel out and enjoying being mum to a six year old.

Moving on......

My work in progress is tough going, it hasn't begun to flow yet. I think that's largely due to the holidays and not having more than five minutes day or night to put a paragraph together. It promises to be fun I just need to get to the "zone" and I'm away.
